More About the Technology The CyberKnife takes the existing technology of radiosurgery, which previously had only certain neurological applications, to improved levels of accuracy, speed, flexibility and patient comfort. Accuracy: Technology derived from cruise missile guidance systems allows radiation to target a tumor with submillimeter precision. The system is computercoordinated to correct for any motion, including the patient’s respiration.
